In the late 1990s there was only a barbed wire fence and a wooden gate. There is a view to the old lighthouse, El Faro Viejo, in the distance.
Excerpt from Nightlife article – Los Cabos Magazine Issue 5 – 1997-98. Kokomo, a new club on the party circuit, only recently opened, has quickly become a popular spot. Kokomo features a big dance floor and great dance music. They have added a show featuring local dancers starting at around 8 p.m. The dance-party crowd usually hits this spot around 10:00 p.m., before they make their way up Boulevard Marina on the way to El Squid Roe.
Kokomo Cabo closed March 2001.
