My experiences span from a pioneer cattle ranch in Utah to a happy retirement in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico; two World Wars, the great depression of the 1930’s, show business from vaudeville to VCR’s and thirty years of fishing in Mexico.
I make no claim to expert knowledge or scientific accuracy. They publish encyclopedias for that. These stories are the consequence of personal observations . . . and the tutoring of some of the best fishermen in the world. They relate to one particular area, the Gordo Bank and the deep water marlin ground of Cabo San Lucas. Any slight deviations from the truth, common to all fishermen, are included for dramatic effect. Names of the participants are withheld to protect the stories the told at home.
