Estero de San José del Cabo
The estuary was called Aguada Segura, or certain watering place, by the Spanish sailors and was the only fresh water source in the southern part of the Baja California Peninsula.

Hotel Twin Dolphin
The Hotel Twin Dolphin opened during 1977.
It sat on part of 160 acres on a secluded beach adjacent to Bahâ Santa Maria. The Hotel was named after the family yacht of its developer, Texas oilman David J. Halliburton Sr. The hotel was closed around 2006 and the buildings were demolished.

The above image was used for a Los Cabos post card for many years.
Twin Dolphin Beach was named for the hotel nearby that was closed in 2006. This beach is correctly named Playa Las Viudas or Widows Beach.

The old lighthouse at Cabo Falso, Cabo San Lucas. Faro de Cabo Falso, Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, México. Founded 05 May 1905. Fundado el 5 de Mayo de 1905. There is a celebration each year on 5 de Mayo. Here are some photos from the 2015 event.

In the Cabo San Lucas area there is a lighthouse more than 100 years old commonly known as El Faro Viejo, “The Old Lighthouse”. One photo dates back to 1905. The designer and executor of construction of this lighthouse was the engineer Joaquín Gómez Palacios, a native of Madrid, Spain.
