Cabo San Lucas Marina area 1984 The dock for the boats to load/unload was a wooden floating dock approx 10' X 10' with a short, narrow wooden ramp. No airport in San Jose del Cabo. We flew in to La Paz and then taxi or air/taxi to Cabo.

Don Abelardo Rodriguez, the pioneer of tourism development in Los Cabos and son of General Abelardo Rodriguez, interim president of Mexico, founded Palmilla in 1956 with 15 guestrooms.
