Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur. Twenty Five years ago.
The first small slice (first contact) with be taken out of the sun over Cabo San Lucas at 10:24 a.m. (PDT) and mid eclipse will begin at 11:53 a.m., with final contact at 12:21 p.m. From the southern tip of the Baja peninsula, the shadow — now 160 miles wide — will shift to the Sea of Cortez, the Mexican mainland, Central America and then South America.
